Jab Tak Khuda Ki Zaat Hai Tanha Nahi Hoon Main.

میں کیسے مان لوں کہ کوئی میرا نہیں رہا
جب تک خدا کی زات ہے تنہا نہیں ہوں میں

قیامت تک سجدے میں رہے سَر میرا اے خدا

کہ تیری نعمتوں کے لیے یہ زندگی کافی نہیں

Kuda Ki Rahmat Main Kuch Na Faraq Dekh,

Sare Zamane Ko Main Ne Perakh Dekha.

خدا کی رحمت میں کچھ نہ فرق دیکھا

سارے زمانے کو میں نے پرکھ دیکھا

Band-e-Parwar Hijab Lazim Hai,
Her Nazar Paarsa Nahi Hoti.

بندہِ پرور حجاب لازم ہے
ہر نطر پارسا نہیں ہوتی

Be-Zubanon Ko Jab Wo Zaban Deta Hai,

Parhne Ko Phir Woh Quraan Deta Hai.

بے زبانوں کو جب وہ زبان دیتا ہے
پڑھنے کو پھر وہ قرآن دیتا ہے

Bakhshne Pe Aaye Jab Ummat Ke Gunahon Ko,
Tohfe Mein Gunahgaron Ko Ramzan Deta Hai.

بخشنے پہ آئے جب امت کے گنا ہوں کو
تحفے میں گناہگاروں کو رمضان دیتا ہے

Jhukte Hain Daanish Jahan Zamane Ke Baadshah,
Kabhi Tu Dekh Lon Main Wo Darbar-e Mustafa.

جھکتے ہیں دانش جہاں زمانے کے بادشاہ
کبھی تو دیکھ لوں میں وہ دربارے مصطفیٰ

Khuda Se Mang Jo Kuch Maangna Hai Akbar,
Yehi Wo Dar Hai Ke Zillat Nahi Sawal Ke Bad.

خدا سے مانگ جو کچھ مانگنا ہے اکبر
یہی وہ دربار ہے کہ زلت نہیں سوال کے بعد

Is Khak Ko Hdyat De Mola,
Us Khak Me Milne Se Pehle.

اِس خاک کو ہدایت دے مولا
اس خاک میں ملنے سے پہلے

Aankh Ashkbaar Sahi, Dil Yeh Guneh-gaar Sahi,
Bandah To Tera Hon, Bandah Yeh Khata-kaar Sahi.

آنکھ اشک بار سہی، دل یہ گنہگار سہی
بندہ تو تیرا ہوں، بندا یہ خطا کار سہی

Soda Gari Nahi Ye Ibadat Khuda Ki Hai,

Ae Be-Khabar Jaza Ki Tamana Bhi Chor De.

سودا گری نہیں یہ عبادت خدا کی ہے

اے بے خبر جزا کی تمنا بھی چھوڑ دے

Mere Bachpan Ke Din Bhi Kia Khub The Iqbal,

Be Nimazi Bhi Tha Aur Be Gunah Bhi.

میرے بچپن کے دن بھی کیا خو ب تھے اقبالؔ
