Step 1Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and cover a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup later. Cut the squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Season the squash with pepper and salt, and place it on a baking sheet (cut-side down) Roast the squash until well tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Flip the roasted squash over, shred each half with a fork, turn the flesh over, and this looks like a yellow boat filled with spaghetti. Drizzle the hot squash with a little olive oil and adjust the seasoning.
