Ingredients of Mashed Potatoes:-
4 pounds of golden creamer potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
2 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped chives
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions for Mashed Potatoes recipe:-
Place potatoes, 2 tablespoons salt, and bay leaf, and cover with cold water in a large pot. Simmer on medium-high heat for about 25 minutes and cook until the potatoes are soft. Once softened well, take it out and remove the bay leaf. Meanwhile, heat the butter and cream in a small saucepan. Put the potatoes through a food mill into a bowl. Add the hot cream and season with pepper and salt. Mix with a spoon and add the chives.
