INGREDIENTS FOR BBQ CHICKEN KEBABS RECIPE
- 1.3 Ibs. Chicken Breasts.
- 2 small red onions.
- 1 fresh pineapple.
- 1 tsp smoked paprika.
- 2 tbsp of cooking oil, divided.
- 1 tsp of sweet paprika.
- 1/4 tsp salt.
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced.
- 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce.
INSTRUCTIONS for This simple chicken kebabs Recipe.
1. Cut the onions into 1-inch squares. Place the onion in a bowl, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and toss to coat.
2.Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Cut 1 inch cubes.
3.Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch pieces and place them in a bowl. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the cooking oil over the top, then add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, sweet paprika, pepper, and salt. Mix the chicken until it is well coated in the oil and spices.
4.Make your kebabs by adding onion, pineapple, and chicken to the skewers, alternating. We used ten skewers, but the number may vary depending on the length of the skewers and the size of your pieces.
5.Heat a grill or grill pan to medium. Cook the kebabs for a few minutes on each side.
6.When the chicken kebabs are almost done, brush them all over with the BBQ sauce and cook for a minute or two more, or until the chicken is cooked through and the BBQ sauce is slightly caramelized.
7.Sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.
