Applesauce

Applesauce is a great source of vitamins A and C, both of which are necessary for the proper growth of any plant. Applesauce is also high in fiber, which helps to keep the digestive system working properly. Applesauce contains many different types of antioxidants, including quercetin, which is known to help prevent cancer. Applesauce also contains pectin, which is a type of soluble fiber that binds to cholesterol and prevents it from being absorbed into the body. Pectin also helps to lower blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol. Applesauce can be added to any recipe to add flavor and nutrition.
